Jack Harrison is expected to leave Leeds United this summer, but the club he will join is still uncertain.

The Whites loaned the exit-bound winger out to Serie A side Fiorentina in the winter, as terms of the agreement saw the Italian outfit have the opportunity to trigger a buy option.

Fiorentina have passed up the chance to sign Harrison permanently, and so the Englishman is due back at Thorp Arch in time for pre-season.

However, with the market officially opening on 15 June, Leeds will be keen to offload the former Everton loanee after controversial times in LS11 recently.

Not only that, but the 29-year-old has failed to have any desirable impact over a season in his last three individual campaigns, which will have affected his market value.

Leeds are trying to find the best solution to sell Harrison, and his "local ties" in America could see him leave to join the New England Revolution.

MLS side interested in signing Jack Harrison

Harrison has an American background, having attended Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts, in the 2010's.

He then went on to make his professional debut for New York City FC in 2016, as his first appearances in English football were with Middlesbrough before he joined Leeds in 2018.

According to an American outlet, the Blazing Musket, the New England Revolution are keen on signing Harrison.

The Gillette Stadium is situated more than 3,000 miles away from Elland Road, and it would be a deal that sees him move to the other side of the world.

Given Harrison's connections to America and past experiences in the MLS, this fresh opportunity could be one that appeals to him.

The Whites would likely demand a seven-figure fee for his sale, as it would be a relief for the 49ers to get him off the wage bill.

What would be a good sale fee for Harrison?

Leeds could do with selling some of their deadwood this summer, in what will be a challenging market for the 49ers.

Fiorentina had the option to buy Harrison for £6million, and if the Whites could get anything close to that, they would be happy.

MLS sides are starting to get better revenue streams, with more money being pumped into football over in America.

Hopefully for Leeds, the New England Revolution match their asking price, should they make a move to get Harrison out of Elland Road.
