Harry Wilson’s deadline-busting move to Leeds ‘on’ despite difficulties earlier
Leeds United are edging closer to completing a deal to sign Fulham’s Harry Wilson.
Deadline day has provided nothing but stress for Leeds supporters, who have been waiting to see whether Daniel Farke gets his wish for new attacking arrivals.
Leeds failed in a bid for Emi Buendia, while tabling several offers for Wilson.
Wilson was the subject of a permanent bid from Leeds, with the deal now progressing according to the latest reports.

Harry Wilson update can finally spark relief at Leeds
According to Miguel Delaney via X, the transfer of Wilson to Leeds is “currently on”, despite difficulties that were complicating the deal earlier.
Leeds had an initial loan approach turned down for Wilson, though it remains to be seen whether the deal is progressing on the same terms or whether it could be a permanent move.
The Welshman has featured regularly for Fulham this season, but with Marco Silva’s side progressing in a deal to sign Tyrique George, they are seemingly open to his exit.
Dan James may well have had his say on the deal, having featured for the Welsh international team regularly alongside Wilson.
If the deal goes through, Leeds fans will have to forget his antics while at Derby County, though the success of the transfer will be determined by what he can do on the pitch.
Will Leeds sign another forward after Harry Wilson?
Wilson to Leeds certainly seems like a go, but it is a deal that will go right down to the wire ahead of the 7pm deadline.
Manor Solomon has also been linked with a move to Leeds on Monday, with Tottenham ready to sanction his exit if a suitable offer is made.
Farke’s side have already brought Noah Okafor, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha to Elland Road, and Wilson would be a shrewd addition.
However, Leeds‘ main concern is goals this season, and with Wilson only scoring five and six in his last two seasons, respectively, there will be some concerns over whether he can improve those numbers.
It is going to be a tense end to the window, though it is looking likely that Leeds get their man this time.
