Leeds United will be keeping an eye on a few of their player's contract situations.

The transfer window is now closed, meaning Daniel Farke's squad is set in stone until at least January.

The Elland Road outfit have worked smart in the market but will still need to ensure next summer doesn't see them miss out on much-needed funds.

Brenden Aaronson was one of those players that were set to depart in June 2027, but the Whites have got him tied down to a new deal until 2029.

In fact, there are only two senior players with their contracts ticking down to a potential free agent exit.

Ilia Gruev and Lukas Nmecha are both in their final contract year at Elland Road.

Central midfield and striker were positions that the Whites were eyeing in the most recent summer window.

So, it remains to be seen how keen the Whites would be to keep the duo around.

New contracts for the two Leeds players will likely depend on their role in the current season.

With Farke's new contract likely to be a priority for the 49ers based on his work so far.

The Leeds loanees that are not guaranteed to stick around after 2026-2027

Leeds have brought two players in on loan, with both deals being confirmed on deadline day.

Those are French duo Melvin Bard and Jean-Matteo Bahoya.

The pair have arrived on initial loan deals, and there is no guarantee that they will remain Leeds players at the end of the campaign.

However, the Whites do hold options to make those deals permanent at the end of the season.
