Leeds United defender Robin Koch should have no issues clearing his medical amid Frankfurt transfer interest, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert has hailed the 27-year-old for his fitness record and does not see any red flags cropping him in his fitness.
BILD reported that the Bundesliga club are willing to offer the Germany international a three-year deal worth around £52,000 per week.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Koch:
"His overall injury history isn’t overly concerning, especially in recent years.
"I’d say there’s a very very high chance he clears a medical.
"Even this season, he's played most of the games, which is always a promising sign for any buying club.
"The best positive is availability and he's offered that to his side."
Koch has indeed been largely available for the German side this term, making 20 appearances in all competitions.
He had a clause in his contract that allowed him to leave Elland Road in the event of relegation and chose to make the most of it.
Now, a return to West Yorkshire seems unlikely as he's impressed the Frankfurt hierarchy who want to sign him permanently.
