Villarreal striker Ben Brereton Diaz is unhappy in Spain amid the lack of game time and links to clubs like Leeds United, Crystal Palace and Burnley.

According to Estadio Deportivo, the Chile international may be on his way out of the Spanish club in the January transfer window.

He has struggled for regular game time and has yet to score a goal, despite finding the back of the net regularly in the Championship.

The Whites squad currently boasts a dynamic attacking setup that has shown promising signs of effectiveness.

Georginio Rutter, who has been leading the line, has demonstrated his capabilities, contributing positively to the team's attacking prowess.

Joel Piroe, operating as a number 10, serves as a reliable backup option, offering versatility and creativity in the final third.

The depth in the squad is further enhanced by the versatility of players like Wilfried Gnonto, who can also feature in the number nine role, providing additional options and adaptability to different tactical approaches.

Meanwhile, the goal-scoring responsibilities are well-distributed, with wingers Dan James and Crysencio Summerville consistently finding the back of the net.

Brereton Diaz may have been a good option in January when Leeds were desperate for goals in the Premier League but now that ship has sailed.
