Brighton ready push for Leeds United gem Crysencio Summerville as transfer race heats up
Brighton are ready to jump ahead of their Premier League rivals in the race for Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville, according to TEAMtalk.
The outlet reported on its website on Monday (10 June) that the Seagulls are set to ready a transfer push to beat the other teams interested in his signature by making an early move for the Dutchman this summer.
Chelsea and Liverpool have both been linked with the winger whilst Fulham have also been credited with an interest, but the south coast club could have an advantage by being able to offer a pathway to the first team.
Brighton believe that Summerville is a player with huge potential that they will be able to further develop and potentially turn a big profit in the future, as has been part of their model.
Will Leeds United sell Crysencio Summerville during the summer transfer window?
It was always going to be inevitable that Premier League teams would come knocking for some of the Whites’ best players when they missed out on promotion and it hasn’t taken too long for that to be the case.
However, despite plenty of interest, it doesn’t seem that a genuine offer has been made to try and prize Summerville way from Elland Road yet but that could change quickly if clubs are battling for his signature.

Brighton seem to be eager to jump ahead of the queue of people as soon as possible and that could mean that they move quickly to get their offer in. Whether it matches Leeds’ valuation remains to be seen.
The Whites may not be able to turn down a big offer if it is to arrive, but they will also be holding out for a big offer. Any money they receive will be reinvested straight away to try and help Farke drag his side back into the Premier League.
