Brazil in complete agreement after what he’s told about Phillips to Leeds return
Kalvin Phillips has been linked with a return to Elland Road since Leeds United clinched the Championship title.
The midfielder has endured a torrid few seasons, having faltered at West Ham before suffering relegation with Ipswich Town.
Daniel Farke’s side have spent considerably already this summer, with Lucas Perri the latest arrival at Elland Road.
Now, there has been further talk of a Leeds return for Phillips, who is not needed at Man City.

Leeds United return given the nod for Phillips
The Peacocks have already strengthened the hub of their midfield, with Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach through the Leeds doors.
However, a move for Phillips is still possible, with the Elland Road outfit continuing to sign players ahead of the new season.
Since leaving Leeds, the 29-year-old has struggled to make an impact at any of the clubs he has played for.
While a move to the Etihad Stadium seemed to be the pinnacle, it was a step too high, and the fall has been steep.
Last season offered the central midfielder a chance to prove himself, but he was powerless to stop the Tractor Boys’ decline.
Phillips made 14 starts for Ipswich last campaign, but is due to cut a peripheral figure once again with City.

Speaking on talkSPORT (30 July, 06:56am), Alan Brazil and Dean Saunders agreed that he would be a solid signing for Leeds.
Brazil said: “We’re talking about an England international here, aren’t we?
“For me… Leeds need someone they can trust in the Premiership, they need someone with experience, and he’s got that, so as long as it’s not crazy money, I think he’d be happier there.
Saunders replied: “I agree, yeah. He struggled at West Ham as well, didn’t he… but he is a disciplined defensive midfield player and everybody seems to need one at the moment.”
Phillips would be a gamble for Elland Road club
The promoted clubs have been linked with moves for their former players, but that is not necessarily the wisest move.
Farke has several strong options in central midfield and has already signed players in that position.
Furthermore, the 29-year-old does not have the best injury record, which raises a red flag.
Considering his lack of impact since leaving Elland Road, a move for Phillips would certainly be risky.
