'Bielsa will make him a star', 'Brilliant' - Many PL club fans urge Leeds to sign this player

Tottenham fans are praying that Leeds United sign Juan Foyth this summer after seeing the Yorkshire club get linked with the Argentinean centre-back.

The Sun reported on Tuesday that Leeds are lining up a £15million bid for the 22-year-old defender, who has struggled for game-time since joining Spurs three years ago.

He was brought in by fellow Argentine Mauricio Pochettino but failed to break into the Tottenham first-team due to a wealth of solid options ahead of him in the defensive pecking order.

Since Jose Mourinho’s arrival in North London, chances have become even fewer and far between for Foyth and now, a lot of Spurs fans are open to the club selling the Argentina international with Leeds said to be interested.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

We all want to see Ben White return to Elland Road this summer but let’s face it, completing another deal for the Brighton defender is going to be very difficult with him doing so well this season in the Championship.

Foyth is an alternative but he’s not as good as White based on what we’ve seen from him.

The Argentina international just seems to have a mistake in himself all the time.

He seems to lack confidence but that is something Marcelo Bielsa might be able to fix.

As one Tottenham fan pointed out, he would rather Leeds sign Foyth on loan because he can see Bielsa working his magic on the 22-year-old and improving him.

Bielsa has a knack for that but after what happened with White, we’d rather see Bielsa improve players who are Leeds players, not help teams like Brighton in improving their young players.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are set to miss out on this striker.
