Barcelona do internal checks to sign Leeds United star Raphinha and keep Ousmane Dembele – Fabrizio Romano
Barcelona are doing internal checks to see whether they can afford to have both Ousmane Dembele and Leeds United star Raphinha on their books, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Writing for CaughtOffside, the Guardian journalist reported on 10 July that Barcelona are aware that Raphinha, 25, wants to sign for them and have made an improved “verbal proposal” for the Brazil international in the last week.
Chelsea have not yet been rejected by Raphinha with Romano claiming the London club has offered a package that meets Leeds’ £60million valuation of the ex-Rennes winger.

It is understood that “definitive answers will come very soon” about whether Raphinha will join Barcelona or Chelsea.
Bore off, Barca
Is anyone else tired of Barcelona’s insistence on signing a player they clearly cannot afford?
Yes, Raphinha wants to go there. But we can’t all have everything we want, can we?
Barcelona have been chasing Raphinha for months and are yet to offer what Leeds want for their blue-chip player.
Raphinha is worth £60million to them and that’s why Chelsea’s offer has been accepted.
Is it time for Raphinha to realise that it’s probably better that he joined a club that sees his true value rather than one that’s trying every trick in the book to get him on the cheap?

If Barcelona wanted Raphinha that badly, we’re sure there are ways for them to raise the money to be able to afford him but instead, they’re going on about keeping Dembele – a complete and utter failure at the Nou Camp.
Raphinha should not be happy with the way Barca have gone about their business and he also shouldn’t be happy with his agent Deco, who’s been doing all he can to ensure the Catalans sign the winger.
Deco was also a Chelsea player in his career.
Why’s he not pandering to them in the same way he is to Barca?
In other Leeds United news, this £40,000-a-week Leeds player is being hidden from pre-season footage as the club gets ready to get rid of him.
