Archie Gray ‘not agitating’ for Leeds United exit amid Liverpool and Manchester City interest

Archie Gray is “not agitating” for an exit from Leeds United amid interest in the player’s services, according to TEAMtalk.

The publication reported on its website on Wednesday (15 November) that Liverpool and Manchester City are keeping tabs on the youngster.

The versatile 17-year-old is also attracting interest from Newcastle United and Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund, TEAMtalk added.

The publication noted that Gray is “happy to continue his progress at Elland Road,” adding that the player is “not agitating for a move.”

Top talent

Gray really is one of the top talents in English football, never mind in the Championship, with Leeds having a real gem on their hands.

And Whites manager Daniel Farke is fully aware of this, with the German relying heavily on Gray in all competitions this season.

Despite being just 17, the Whites ace has played 15 times in the Championship and twice in the League Cup. His versatility has been on display for all to say, with the teenager operating at both central midfield and right-back.

Gray’s displays in that latter position have often kept veteran defender Luke Ayling out of the team, such has been his impressive performances.

And while they will delight his manager, Farke may also be concerned about losing his young star, with interest from some of the biggest clubs in European football seemingly constantly rising.

They may not, however, get their way if the youngster decides that staying at Elland Road is the best option at this stage of his career.

In other Leeds United news, one Whites ace sent a two-word message to a player after he made his Champions League debut recently.
