Leeds United ace Crysencio Summerville sends message to Feyenoord man Antoni Milambo after career milestone

Leeds United ace Crysencio Summerville has sent a two-word message to Feyenoord midfielder Antoni Milambo.

It comes after the latter made his Champions League debut in his club’s meeting with Lazio on Tuesday (7 November).

Milambo played the last 10 minutes of the match at Stadio Olimpico, with the hosts winning 1-0 thanks to Ciro Immobile’s goal.

Taking to Instagram after the match, Milambo posted: “Disappointed about the result, but very proud to have made my CL debut on this memorable night.”

Leeds star Summerville was among those congratulating the youngster, with the Whites winger sharing the post and writing: “God did.”

Future star?

Feyenoord midfielder Milambo is already making waves at just 18-years-old, with the youngster having featured in both the Champions League and Eredivisie this season.

Summerville will recognise the player’s career path so far, with both players having progressed through Feyenoord’s youth ranks, as well as featuring for the Netherlands at various youth levels.

Four years his elder, Summerville decided to leave his hometown to move to Elland Road in 2020, with the attacker now thriving under Daniel Farke.

The 22-year-old has been one of the standout players of the current Championship campaign, and will be keen to continue his fine displays in the months to come as Leeds seek promotion back to the Premier League.

He is just one of a number of players to have learned the ropes in the Netherlands at Feyenoord once upon a time, with Milambo perhaps the next exciting talent to be shipped out in the near future.

In other Leeds United news, Whites fans can breathe a sigh of relief as transfer news emerges regarding Premier League club Everton.
