Leeds United stars Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville are both attracting significant interest from Premier League clubs, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Writing in his Daily Briefing Column, the journalist said that while the Whites hoped to keep both players this summer, failure to achieve Premier League promotion makes that prospect extremely difficult.

Romano admitted that movement is expected on both players already, with Arsenal one of the clubs named in the expected summer race.

Can Leeds United keep Gray and Summerville?

Leeds face yet another summer of uncertainty following their 1-0 loss to Southampton in the Championship play-off final on 26 May, as a second campaign in the second tier awaits.

While a plethora of players are expected to leave, Daniel Farke will also be faced with the return of loanees, several of which departed thanks to temporary relegation clauses in their contracts.

Crysencio Summerville is expected to leave Leeds United this summer.

That will leave the Whites with a large squad in need of trimming, though as in Summerville and Gray's cases, there are individuals who the club will hope to keep hold of unless suitable bids come in.

With Gray a home-grown academy product and Summerville signed for a nominal fee in 2020, the sale of both would represent huge profits made on the club's books as financial fair play and profit and sustainability rules hang over their heads.

However, with several other sellable assets, Leeds will be confident of keeping Gray in particular.

Summerville won the Championship's Player of the Year award after a season which proved he is far too good for the second tier, whereas the latest member of the Gray dynasty at Elland Road is someone who Farke could build his team around in the future.
