Adolfo Gaich missing for CSKA Moscow after Leeds United table bid
Adolfo Gaich has been left out of the CSKA Moscow squad to take on Dinamo Moscow today (Sunday) after Leeds United reportedly tabled a bid to sign him.
Italian news website TuttoMercatoWeb reported earlier this week that Leeds have made an offer to sign the 22-year-old striker.
On Sunday, Gaich was nowhere to be seen with the Argentinean failing to make CSKA’s matchday squad to take on Dinamo in the Russian Premier League.
On the move?
Gaich joined CSKA last August but made just 18 appearances in all competitions for the Russian club before being loaned out to Italian side Benevento in the winter.
During his time in Italy, Gaich scored two goals in 15 Serie A appearances and does not look as though he’s played his way back into the CSKA first-team.

According to TMW, the one-time Argentina international is “destined” to leave Moscow on loan this summer and would like to return to a club in Italy despite the reported offer from Leeds.
Gaich is set to obtain an Italian passport, which will help him return to Serie A but won’t really grease the wheels for a move to Elland Road due to Brexit.
It’s interesting that Gaich hasn’t made CSKA’s matchday squad today.
He played for Argentina at the Olympics but the last time he played for them was on July 28 as the South Americans were dumped out of the tournament in the group stages.
It could be that Gaich has an extended break due to the internationals but he may also have been left out against Dinamo Moscow due to the speculation that is surrounding his future in the Russian capital.
In other Leeds United news, this Whites midfielder suffered a “nasty” injury in pre-season.
