Bogle proves why he is key for Leeds promotion push v Oxford United
Jayden Bogle has proved why he is a key figure in Leeds United’s promotion push after what he did in the win over Oxford United.
The Whites hammered the relegation candidates in a 4-0 victory at Elland Road on 21 December despite a makeshift defence with Ethan Ampadu playing at centre-back and Sam Byram on the left yet again.
Bogle impressed against Gary Rowett’s men (21 December) and proved why he is a key asset for the Whites and will be integral in their push for the Premier League.
Bogle outstanding for Leeds United against Oxford
Bogle has emerged as Daniel Farke’s first-choice at right-back, starting 20 Championship matches so far this season.
The 24-year-old has been solid defensively and has contributed in attack, scoring three goals and notching one assist.
Against Oxford, the former Sheffield United man scored a goal, created three chances, had three touches in the opposition box and had two passes into the final third. [Fotmob]

Bogle was accurate with 75 per cent of the four crosses he attempted, had a 60 per cent long ball accuracy completing three of the five he attempted and recorded an 82 per cent pass accuracy, misplacing seven of his 38 attempts.
Defensively, he won three of four tackles for a 75 per cent success rate and made two recoveries and one interception while winning six of nine ground duels that he contested for a 67 per cent success rate.
Farke will not be concerned about defensive injuries whilst Bogle is in such a good vein of form as the Whites continue their promotion push.
