Lukas Radebe sends Radrizzani Twitter message, goes wild for Leeds in Christmas post

Nearly every Leeds United fan will remember and cherish the memories of Lukas Radebe in the heart of the defence.

The South African enforcer still has a chant that flows around Elland Road to this day, and that proves how must he is adored in West Yorkshire.

Memories such as him going in goal at Old Trafford against Manchester United, and putting in a blinder against our title-chasing rivals are just one of the reasons he is so fondly remembered.

Radebe clearly still holds the club close to his heart, and his recent Christmas message to the fans will prove that.

Radebe sent the Christmas wishes to Andrea Radrizzani interestingly, as well as the Leeds fans as he wished for a positive year in the Whites’ promotion push.

“Let me take this opportunity to wish all the Best wishes,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account.

“May you all enjoy Christmas and a prosperous new year Leeds United for life.”

To send the message directly to the chairman of the club highlights that Radebe is clearly a fan of the Italian and will most likely believe that under his guidance Leeds can finally return to the Premier League.

Radrizzani has definitely brought back the family feel to Elland Road in his short reign in charge, and little decisions like bringing out the legends (Radebe included) in the Centenary game against Birmingham was a brilliant choice.

If we get to see one defender who could show the passion and determination that Radebe had for the club in the next decade, we would be more than delighted.
