Victor Orta surely fails to sleep as he lines up two more major Leeds United transfers after Rasmus Kristensen

Victor Orta has been busier than most at the start of this summer with Leeds United set for a major squad overhaul at Elland Road under Jesse Marsch.

The Whites have already confirmed the signing of Brenden Aaronson from RB Salzburg, and Rasmus Kristensen is now on the verge of following him through the door from Austria [Fabrizio Romano].

Orta isn’t done there now, and another two imminent transfers could take arrivals to four.

90min have reported that with Orta and Angus Kinnear in New York City this week, Leeds are now the most interested in signing Valentin Castellanos.

The South American has been recommended around the Premier League by Manchester City, and it looks as though the Whites are currently winning the race for the striker.

On top of that, Leeds representatives that likely include Orta and Kinnear are looking at another unnamed player based in America and the MLS.

That is two separate transfers that could already be lined up.

Line them up.

Wow, after being crucified back in January for a lack of action, it appears as though Orta and Andrea Radrizzani have gone into this summer all guns blazing.

Kristensen is all-but-confirmed as a Leeds player, and should be confirmed after the international break, so all eyes may be moving onto other areas needed to be strengthened.

Castellanos ticks the boxes for the final third, and if this unnamed American-based player is a holding midfielder, we could have already strengthened every last position we needed to.

The window doesn’t officially open until the 10th of June, and Leeds could have four signings either done or lined up ready to be completed.

Orta clearly hasn’t slept, and if we can take aim at him when at our worst, he deserves the credit when he appears to get things right in a huge manner.

Two likely down, another two possibly to come – here we go.
