MOT View: Mirror report shares insight into who will be at Elland Road in remaining games
With less than three weeks until the Championship season restart, Leeds United will be preparing for their final nine games.
The EFL have confirmed that the second-tier will return on the 20th of June, with the Whites expected to face Cardiff on the first weekend.
The Premier League will return a few days prior to that on the Wednesday (17th) and have started putting plans in place for that already.
The Mirror have reported who will be in the stadiums for each matchday. There is expected to be no more than 300 people in stadiums that usually anywhere up to 80,000.
Broadcasters will take up the most space, with 98 members of staff expected for all of the television equipment. Outside of that, there will be ten directors from each club allowed.
Now for matters on the pitch. Each club will have 20 players at the ground, with 12 members of coaching and medical staff on the touchline.
To finish things off, there will be five matchday officials at each ground.
That is only the Premier League for now, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if the EFL and the Championship followed suit so that the process was much easier.
If there was one process to follow across the board in England regardless of the division, it would be much easier and allow things to run more smoothly.
Leeds should be travelling to Cardiff on the first matchday back, with no more than 42 club representatives potentially expected there.
