Marcelo Bielsa favourite can’t stop betraying Leeds with his latest actions
Leeds United supporters will have every right to feel anger towards one of their former players.
Frustrations are running high at Leeds this season, and the overwhelming majority of that is down to Daniel Farke and the lack of optimism that has emerged from the current campaign.
However, there are several other variables that are contributing to a rather negative atmosphere in and around Elland Road.
One of those is in regard to a former player, who was loved by Marcelo Bielsa throughout his time at Leeds United.

Patrick Bamford is ruining his Leeds reputation
Let’s face it, Patrick Bamford’s time at Leeds wasn’t exactly something for the ages.
Instead, it was seen by many as a financial mistake given the wage he was on and the number of games he missed through injury.
With that said, Bielsa was a big fan of Bamford and even praised him as a model professional throughout his time at Elland Road.
He said: “With Patrick, that’s something very special because when players are already established, they don’t usually have this attitude where they still want to improve.”
Bamford’s reputation was unique at Leeds, and that has certainly taken a hit over the last few months.
After departing Elland Road on a free, Bamford was spotted training with Coventry City, where Frank Lampard is in charge.
Of course, Lampard spearheaded the whole spygate controversy, and to this day, Leeds fans have not forgotten the anger that they felt towards the former Chelsea midfielder.
Fast forward to now, and Bamford is reportedly in talks with Sheffield United, Leeds’ local, bitter rivals.
Bamford and Wilder were involved in a controversial incident where the former Leeds star aimed an explicit chant at the Sheffield United manager, adding more fuel to the fire of what would be a surprising yet shocking transfer.

Regardless of whether the deal goes through or not, for Bamford to be considering continuing his career at either club, given the situations that Leeds have faced over the years, is borderline disrespectful to the club that showed so much faith in him.

What is the latest on Patrick Bamford’s move to Sheffield United?
Ever since losing out on promotion to Leeds and then Sunderland in the play-off final, Sheffield United have been falling apart.
The Blades have scored just 11 goals this season, with their forward options doing very little to subdue the concerns that are lingering at Bramall Lane.
Andy Giddings reported via X that the Blades are in talks with Bamford over a short-term deal that would see him sign for Wilder’s side until January.
As for what would happen after that is unknown, but it seems as though Bamford would be on the lookout for yet another club if he fails to impress.
