Liam Cooper, Sam Byram, Joel Piroe axed – Leeds United predicted XI v Rotherham
Daniel Farke could be set to make several changes to his Leeds United starting lineup for the Championship clash with Rotherham on Saturday.
The Whites earned a place in the FA Cup fifth-round with a 4-1 win over Plymouth in midweek after extra-time, while Rotherham have just one win in their last 18 games in all competitions.
But as the Whites look to push on in the race for automatic promotion back to the Premier League, they can’t afford to be complacent and the boss is likely to make changes to freshen up the team.
Illan Meslier will keep his place in goal with Karl Darlow still out injured but the defence should get some fresh faces.
Archie Gray was rested from the start in midweek but should come back in at right-back, while Joe Rodon is likely to be partnered by Ethan Ampadu once more with captain Liam Cooper dropping out of the side. Junior Firpo is expected to get the nod at left-back ahead of Sam Byram too, with the summer signing dropping to the bench.
In midfield Glen Kamara and Ilia Gruev have performed admirably in recent weeks and provided excellent balance to the side with Ampadu dropping deeper, so they will keep their places in the side also.

Further forward Wilfried Gnonto made it two goals in two games in the FA Cup game so should start on the right, but Crysencio Summerville will certainly come back into the fold – likely ahead of loanee Jaidon Anthony.
Joel Piroe got a start in the week and despite hitting the crossbar he struggled to make an impact which should see him come back out of the side, with Georginio Rutter returning to the lineup in his new number ten role.
Mateo Joseph got his first start of the season and while he performed well he didn’t get on the scoresheet, which means Patrick Bamford should come back into the lineup after his recent good form.
