Leeds United want to sign one of the best wonderkids in the world as El Chadaille Bitshiabu linked with transfer
Victor Orta could hit the jackpot at Leeds United with the signature of PSG prodigy El Chadaille Bitshiabu, who has been named as one of the 50 best wonderkids in football by GOAL.
According to Jeunes Footeux [28 February], the Whites are eager to bring the 17-year-old centre-back to Elland Road, but face competition from Fulham and Bayern Munich.
Bitshiabu, who has made 10 appearances for the French giants this season, is also reportedly being eyed by Bayer Leverkusen and RB Salzburg.

“Though PSG do not have the greatest record when it comes to keeping hold of their exciting academy players, they certainly know how to nurture talent, and Bitshiabu’s development is a perfect illustration of that,” according to GOAL.
“Always at a physical advantage during his youth career due to his height (he currently stands at 6’6”), the 17-year-old has since shown improvements in his ability on the ball that suggest he will become a top-class centre-back.
“Bitshiabu broke Kingsley Coman’s record as PSG’s youngest-ever player when he debuted in December 2021, and he played a key role in France winning the U17 European Championship the following year.”

Leeds have proven in recent transfer windows that they are not afraid to spend big in order to try and avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Given the current hype around Bitshiabu and the fact that he is on the books at PSG, a large fee is seemingly the only way for Leeds to win the race for his signature.
The youngster is highly-coveted by many top clubs around Europe after impressing for the Ligue 1 outfit domestically and in the Champions League, but it may just be PSG who come out on top in this saga, as they usually do.
The Parisians certainly have the finances to keep the talented defender at the club for the foreseeable future, while Bitshiabu himself could not ask for two better mentors in Sergio Ramos and Marquinhos.
Moreover, with the veteran duo getting older, the PSG hierarchy may just earmark their exciting teenager as one of the players to take their place in the near future.
All in all, it will be a difficult task for Orta to persuade the teenager to move to Elland Road. The Premier League has, however, proven to be the hottest destination for players looking to play at the highest level.
Leeds could certainly do with defensive reinforcements, and while still very young, Bitshiabu’s physical presence would be a huge advantage against some of the world’s best attackers.
In other Leeds United news, one player’s exit could depend on Javi Gracia remaining the man in the dugout at Elland Road.
