Leeds United predicted starting XI v Swansea City: Archie Gray to be axed
Daniel Farke is a stickler for making as few changes to his Leeds United starting XI as possible, and the German has very little reason to make many adjustments.
His team were nearly flawless in their 3-0 victory over Rotherham United on Saturday 10 February, with Patrick Bamford opening the scoring before Crysencio Summerville’s brace, while the defence kept a clean sheet.
However, Farke is predicted to make a change ahead of a visit to Swansea City on Tuesday 13 February, as the Whites look to continue their fine form and keep up the chase on Southampton in the Championship table.
A full Leeds United debut for Connor Roberts?
Illan Meslier is expected to keep his spot in between the posts, especially with second-choice goalkeeper Karl Darlow still suffering from injury.
Ethan Ampadu could remain in a centre-back partnership with Joe Rodon after earning their fourth clean sheet as a defensive duo against Rotherham.
The single change may come at right-back. Archie Gray, who was dubbed as “absolutely unbelievable” by pundit Ali Maxwell on the Not Top 20 podcast (11 December), could be axed for Connor Roberts.
The January transfer made his Leeds debut against the Millers, replacing Ilia Gruev with 15 minutes left to play.
Junior Firpo could continue at left-back, having become revitalised under Daniel Farke after an extremely slow start to the season, which was compounded by injury.
With Ampadu set to remain in defence, Glen Kamara and Ilia Gruev should continue deputising at the base of midfield and sweeping up, allowing the attack to do what they do best.

Wilfried Gnonto has played a starring role since being reinserted into the starting XI by Farke, and with Dan James still yet to return from the sidelines, the Italian could make his 10th league start of the season.
Georginio Rutter, Summerville and Bamford are likely to keep their places after the last victory at Elland Road, with all three involved in goals during the comfortable 3-0 win.
