Leeds United: Daniel Farke will cross fingers as quadruple international news emerges

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke will undoubtedly be paying close attention over the upcoming international break.

His club will be well-represented by various countries, none more so than Wales, with four Whites aces making their latest squad.

As per the official Football Association of Wales website (13 March), Joe Rodon, Connor Roberts, Ethan Ampadu and Daniel James have all been selected by Rob Page.

The nation have a huge task ahead, with Wales set to take on Finland in a Euro 2024 play-off clash next Thursday (21 March).

If they can come out on top in Cardiff, a final against either Poland or Estonia awaits five days later, also in Cardiff.

But while it is an exciting time for the Leeds quartet, it will be a very nervous time for their club manager, with Farke not wanting any of the four to pick up injuries later this month.

Daniel Farke cannot afford injuries to Leeds United stars

The Elland Road club have been in fine form this season, but really cannot afford to lose any players at this key stage of the season.

They currently occupy second place in the Championship table, three points behind Leicester City in first, with Premier League promotion on the line.

All four of Leeds’ Wales internationals have been crucial for Farke lately, with Rodon and Ampadu having joined last summer, while Roberts only made the switch to West Yorkshire in January.

It is set to be another thrilling end to the Championship season, with slip-ups not an option for any of the leading clubs.
