Leeds United can cross Freddie Woodman off their list, he’s headed for Bournemouth
Leeds United director of football Victor Orta can cross Freddie Woodman off his reported shortlist of potential goalkeeper signings.
Earlier this week, the Yorkshire Evening Post reported that the 24-year-old Newcastle goalkeeper is one of three shot-stoppers identified by Orta to replace Kiko Casilla.
Casilla has left Elland Road for the season to join Elche on loan and as a result, the Whites have set out to try and find a replacement.

However, it seems the Yorkshire club have missed out on Woodman already.
The Newcastle Chronicle reported that an offer was made for the ex-Swansea loan star this week but he’s now set to join Bournemouth.
Chronicle journalist Lee Ryder has reported on Twitter that Woodman has already undergone a medical with Bournemouth.
However, an injury to Newcastle’s number one Martin Dubravka has pulled the brakes on Woodman’s potential move to the south coast.
Sky Sports journalist Mark McAdam says the loan deal has been agreed but it’s currently “on hold”.
It seems that whether Newcastle allow Woodman to leave, he won’t be joining Leeds.
Woodman will either be staying at St James’ Park to provide cover for the injured Dubravka or head to Bournemouth.
Leeds appear to be totally out of contention and that means Orta has just two names left on his reported list – Dani Cardenas of Levante and Kristoffer Klaesson of Valerenga.
Cardenas is 24 but only made 13 senior appearances in his career, of which all of them came last season.
Klaesson is far more experienced despite being only 20-years-old.
If it was down to us, we’d probably go for Klaesson but in all honesty, someone with a bit more experienced would be a better back-up option for Illan Meslier.
In other Leeds United news, a young goalkeeper has already announced his arrival at Elland Road.
