Chris Wilder green-lights Leeds United signing in January with lucrative offer
Sheffield United have seen a sensational drop off after challenging Leeds United for promotion last season.
After a torrid spell under Ruben Selles, Chris Wilder made a swift return to the Blades, and they currently sit 18th in the Championship.
Daniel Farke’s team have their own issues to deal with in the Premier League, with the Whites embroiled in a fierce relegation battle.
The PSR situation at Elland Road isn’t rosy, but the West Yorkshire outfit do have plans to sign players on loan, and one may arrive from one of their bitter rivals from the previous campaign.

Gustavo Hamer transfer on cards at Leeds United
Wilder has admitted that Sheffield United will have to consider lucrative offers for their players in the coming months.
While the Blades’ boss isn’t keen on losing his best players, the Elland Road hierarchy can change his stance by making a significant financial investment.
The English manager has seemingly green-lit an approach for someone like Gustavo Hamer, who could potentially be allowed to leave for the right price.
Speaking to the media via The Star on 17 December, Wilder said: “I don’t know what’s going to happen in January. I’d like to keep all the players that we’ve talked about, and get to a situation where, at the end of the season, we are just adding sort of two or three and keeping our best players.”

The Sheffield United boss added: “But if that time comes, if somebody comes in with an offer that we can’t refuse, we’ve got to put that to the board and see where we are from that.”
Hamer was a concrete target at Elland Road in the summer, and while PSR may pose an obstacle for the West Yorkshire outfit, a loan with a guaranteed option to buy may be the best solution for all parties.
Daniel Farke to be worried about one position after Elland Road developments
Farke could potentially be without Daniel James for a long time, and the Wales international’s injury will be a bitter blow.
At the start of the season, Leeds fans would’ve surely looked at the former Manchester United ace as someone who could help them avoid relegation.
| Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes played |

James hasn’t been able to contribute consistently for the West Yorkshire outfit this season due to fitness issues, and the German manager should look to reinforce the attack in January.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha have also been injury-prone, and the lack of options up front will undoubtedly be a concern in LS11.
