'Wow' - Many Leeds fans blown away by 'Iconic', 'Phenomenal' image of Elland Rd ace
Luke Ayling has had an amazing few weeks for Leeds United with the right-back scoring three goals in five games and winning the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for February.
The 28-year-old’s most recent goal, in the 2-0 win against Huddersfield on Saturday, is definitely a contender for the Championship goal of the season award.
After some good play down the left-flank, Jack Harrison’s cross found Ayling charging into the penalty area before the Leeds right-back volleyed the ball with power into the Huddersfield goal.

It still gives us goosebumps every time we watch it and see the limbs in the stand behind the goal.
Ayling’s goal was art and luckily enough, there has been a picture of the moment snapped by photographer George Wood that does the goal justice.
Wood shared the image via his personal Twitter account this week, and Leeds fans have been flocking to comment on how good a shot it is.

The Ayling photo is beautiful. That will sum our season up if we're promoted.

If Leeds win promotion then, as this next fan says, that image of Ayling could be one that is replicated for years and years to come.
It’s a superb goal captured with a superb photo that sums up the season Leeds United are having under Marcelo Bielsa.
This will be an iconic photo for many years. Especially if we go up.
