Willy Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville could quit Leeds United within months – Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson has suggested Cysencio Summerville and Willy Gnonto could leave Leeds United if the club are relegated from the Premier League.
Javi Gracia’s side are one point and one place above the bottom three after their vital 1-0 win over Southampton last Saturday (25 February).
However, Robinson has claimed the club will be shopping in a very different market if they’re relegated back to the Championship.

“Everything at Leeds is shot term vision and the only short-term vision they’ve got at the moment is to stay in this league,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“You talk about Meslier and McKennie, but there are three or four other players who you could talk about as well.
“Nobody can look beyond the end of the season because if Leeds aren’t in the Premier League, I wouldn’t expect Meslier to be there, I wouldn’t expect McKennie or Gnonto to be there. Summerville is another one that you would look at.

“When you’re also looking at what players Leeds would look at, they’ll be shopping in a very different shop if they’re in the Championship because they just can’t attract the players.”
Regardless of what league Leeds are in, it would still take a huge bid to prise Gnonto away from Elland Road. The diminutive Italian is contracted to the club until 2026 and has been a standout performer.
It has been an equally impressive breakthrough season for Summerville, who is also tied down to the club on a long-term deal.
In other Leeds United news, the club may now face a losing battle to keep their star player at Elland Road beyond the summer transfer window.
