Leeds United playmaker Pablo Hernandez has not enjoyed the perfect return to the Premier League he will have been hoping for this season.
After the signing of Rodrigo, the Spaniard has slipped to the bench and has also missed out parts completely following a fall-out with Marcelo Bielsa.
The Whites icon was even linked with a return to Castellon in January, but that proposal was turned down by Leeds and Bielsa.
Phil Hay suggested on his personal Twitter account on Friday that Leeds could be waving goodbye to Hernandez in the summer, with a send-off from fans potentially missing.
Interestingly, Hernandez’ Wife, Mar Garcia took to the replies, and simply responded with a series of heart emojis – which could be the first hint.

Spanish journalist Xavi Sidro reported that Hernandez himself had agreed to join Castellon if Leeds sanctioned the move, something which didn’t materialise.
It would make sense.
The playmaker has shares in the club, grew up in the area and has admitted previously he would love to play there before he retires.
Hernandez has only completed 275 minutes in the Premier League, and it is a sad sight to see him not involved as much this season.
Thankfully, he will be remembered for the good times – that goal at Swansea and winning the Player of the Year award three times in-a-row.
Hernandez has single-handily carried the Whites in recent years, and he will go down in the history books at Elland Road, no matter how it ends.
