View: Time for Leeds United’s Ryan Edmondson to find a new home
Port Vale’s on-loan Leeds United striker Ryan Edmondson should be moved on from Elland Road after a string of temporary spells away from the Whites.
Despite only being 20-years-old, the young striker has had four loan spells away from Elland Road already.
Even though the youngster still has time to develop, the fact that he is still being shipped out on loan surely shows he is surplus to requirements in Yorkshire.

With another 20-year-old Joe Gelhardt making a significant impact at Elland Road it further highlights the level that Edmondson finds himself at.
Since joining the Whites in 2017, Edmondson has scored seven goals with none of them coming for Leeds.
Edmondson’s most prolific loan spell has been his most recent one at Port Vale, with three goals and one assist in 19 appearances for Vale.
The 20-year-old featured for Vale in their playoff semi-final first leg defeat to Swindon on Sunday [15 May].
However, Edmondson was substituted in the 66th minute after failing to make an impact.
Sadly for Edmondson, the fact he is failing at League Two level doesn’t bold well for any hopes he has of breaking into Leeds United’s first team plans.
Sadly for the striker, there are no underlying stats that suggest he is underperforming and could improve.
As per Wyscout, he has an average XG per 90 of 0.18, which means he is expected to score just under one in five games, which at League Two level isn’t impressive for the Premier League loanee.
With his contract coming to its conclusion in the summer of 2023, it is time for Leeds to move the 20-year-old on.
