View: Leeds United must make late move for Fabio Carvalho
Leeds United surely have to make a move now for Fulham talent Fabio Carvalho.
According to reports from Sky Sports who shared the news on transfer centre feed (30 January; 14:57), Liverpool have submitted a £5m bid for the highly-rated teenager.
The Reds have already secured the signing of Colombian international Luis Diaz, and it seems, they are after the exciting youngster.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that Leeds United and West Ham are vying for the signature of the 19-year-old whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Carvalho is yet to put pen to paper, and Fulham would be open to selling him if they receive a good offer.
It was reported that Fulham would accept an offer in the region of £5m, and Liverpool have offered exactly that.
Leeds should make a cheeky move and present a better offer to snap him up.
The attacking midfielder has scored seven goals and provided assists this season.
Blessed with excellent technical abilities and an eye for goal, he has got tremendous potential to be a top player.
Leeds are looking to add a creative midfielder to their ranks, and they’ve been linked with Takumi Minamino [Liverpool Echo]. It’s not clear that Liverpool would allow him to leave this month.
With time running out, a late move for Carvalho would spice things up.
It has been an uninspiring window so far for Leeds, but they can change the mood with some signings on the deadline day.
In other Leeds United news, a big-name midfielder has been offered to the Whites ahead of tomorrow’s deadline.
