Victor Orta set to go into Leeds United transfer overdrive, believes Sergino Dest can be ‘top player’ – report
Leeds United director Victor Orta is set to go into transfer overdrive this summer, according to SPORT.
The Spanish outlet has reported on their website that Orta will have a lot of work to do to make sure it doesn’t take as long to secure Premier League survival.
That is, of course, if Leeds beat the drop this season after an upturn in form, with numerous summer targets already shared.

One of those is Barcelona defender Sergino Dest.
TEAMtalk shared the initial links with the American international, with Brenden Aaronson another set to be targeted again.
This double deal could help two key areas in the Leeds squad, the final third and defence, with little depth in both areas.
SPORT follow up the reports by insisting that those at Elland Road believe Dest can become a “top-level” player.

American Dream.
The 49ers Enterprises are yet to even exercise their right to buy out Andrea Radrizzani, yet their influence is huge.
First Aaronson, then Jesse Marsch, and now Dest.
Marsch being followed by the two major transfers of these American stars would kickstart the new era at Elland Road with a bang.
Orta will know that he needs to strengthen this squad dramatically after everything that has unfolded at the club this season.
Money will surely be made available too, and we hope that Dest can have a bigger impact on the right than Junior Firpo has had on the left.
Luke Ayling and Stuart Dallas are the only other senior options at full-back and having those rotation players are critical.
It’s time to leave the Marcelo Bielsa era behind, and the first stage of that is Orta going into this overdrive for new arrivals – bring it on.
