Victor Orta has joked that he was left upset over the success of Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford in the Premier League.

After being told that he wasn't good enough from everyone outside of Elland Road, the Whites talisman was involved in 24 goals.

Orta joked about that, claiming that he shared the blame with Bamford for the bad times before his success, something he now has to bear the brunt of alone.

Speaking to ONE Football, Orta shared the bizarre take on the success of our main talisman in the Premier League.

“You know what? I feel really upset,” he joked.

"Because in the past, if something bad happened the blame would be 50% Victor Orta and 50% Patrick Bamford – but now I’m taking 100%.

"He deserves this moment because when you work hard through difficult moments, taking criticism and judgements along the way it’s not easy, but I always felt that he believed in his talent."

Classic Orta.

Orta has always been the passionate one in the stands, and he has gained the love and trust of every single Leeds fan in the process.

It wasn't always like that in this crazy journey, though.

We remember times where the Spaniard was public enemy number one, and took some huge criticism for some of his early signings at Elland Road.

The same can be said for Bamford, who often took flack for missing some guilt-edged opportunities when back in the Championship.

Those memories are long gone, and both men are well on their way to becoming modern-day legends in West Yorkshire, just imagine another successful year for both next season.
