Tyson Fury sends Crawley Town message ahead of FA Cup clash v Leeds

Tyson Fury has delivered a message to Crawley Town ahead of their FA Cup clash against Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.

The World-famous heavyweight boxer appears to be in the corner of the League Two side as they take on one of the pound-for-pound biggest clubs in the country.

Marcelo Bielsa confirmed on Friday that he will be naming a strong experienced side, with few under-23 options expected to feature.

Fury took to his personal Twitter account on Friday to send Crawley a message, claiming that the underdog is a very dangerous proposition in sport.

“Hi, this is Tyson Fury, this is a special message for Crawley Town,” he said.

“I know you’ve got a big game against Leeds, but never underestimate the underdog. I’ve been the underdog so many times in my career, and always come out on top – come on the boys.”

Normality resumes…

It has been a strange season so far, with the Whites picking up many fans for their free-flowing football in the Premier League.

Finally, we have welcomed back some enemies for the FA Cup, and who bigger than Fury to kickstart that?

There will be many that would love Crawley to beat Leeds this weekend, and it wouldn’t be the first big shock that this competition has seen – remember Sutton away?

Bielsa will want to get as far as possible in the FA Cup this season, and if that means playing some of our better players then so be it, this is a great opportunity.

Pablo Hernandez and company will be expected to start, and he will be eager to land the knockout blow against the Red Devils.
