Tyler Roberts sends three-word message to Matuesz Bogusz after another Leeds United loan exit

Tyler Roberts has congratulated Mateusz Bogusz after the Polish midfielder was loaned out yet again by Leeds United at the end of August.

Bogusz, 21, rejoined UD Ibiza in Spain’s second-tier on 31 August after his loan spell there last season was ruined by a serious knee injury.

He’s now taken to Instagram to show himself back in training ahead of his second debut for the Balaeric Islands club.

“Happy to be back, can’t wait to start playing again,” said Bogusz on Monday (12 September).

Roberts, 23, was also loaned out by Leeds in the summer with the Welshman joining QPR.

He’s clearly thrilled for his Elland Road teammate, saying: “Well done, brother.”

Good move for Bogusz

After having his 2021/22 season cut short by injury, it was fairly clear that Bogusz would require another loan spell before pushing for a starting spot in Jesse Marsch’s side.

Bogusz scored four goals in 20 appearances during his first stint in Ibiza and put on some impressive displays, so it makes perfect sense why he has once again turned his head towards the Spanish side.

The 21-year-old has shown plenty of promise when fit, and a solid season in Spain could tempt Marsch to consider him in his squad sooner rather than later. Bogusz’ creativity in midfield could certainly add value to the squad and provide some much-needed competition for the high-flying Brenden Aaronson.

Bogusz may have only made one first team appearance for Leeds since joining the club in 2019, but if he shines in Ibiza it might not be long until he’s given a shot at adding to that tally.
