Tyler Adams really wants to join Leeds United on loan amid Everton interest

RB Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams “really wants” to join Leeds United on loan, as per journalist Ben Jacobs.

The CBSSportsGolazo journalist wrote on Twitter on 2 July that the player is being chased by the likes of Everton and Sevilla.

Leipzig are “open to a deal”, while the player has already spoken to Jesse Marsch.

Superb addition

The Yorkshire Evening Post reported on 26 June that the 23-year-old is high up on Victor Orta’s wanted list, and it seems the player wants to join as well.

The Whites appear to be wasting no time securing their major targets as they prepare for Kalvin Phillips’ imminent exit. The England midfielder is all set to join Manchester City this summer.

It won’t be easy to fill the void left by Phillips as he is a top-class player. However, Marsch should be looking to plug the holes in a different way, and probably one or two more midfielders are needed.

The fan base should appreciate the hard work the club has been putting in to get the right players in place. Despite signing Marc Roca, Marsch understands, that more depth and quality are needed in that department.

Adams is a young and mobile midfielder, who has got a bit of experience as well. However, there is still plenty of room for development, and Marsch can make him even better.

Having said that, the Whites need to add more players in different positions, especially if Raphinha leaves. It seems the Whites are doing everything right to get Adams on board.

In other Leeds United news, we could be about to receive a last-gasp £60million offer for Raphinha which could hijack Chelsea’s advances.
