Two unnamed clubs table proposal for Leeds United transfer target Danilo
Two European clubs have reportedly tabled proposals in order to secure the services of Leeds United and Arsenal target Danilo in January.
According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato [10 January], these proposals have arrived at Palmeiras in recent days, but their names of them are still not known.
Barring Leeds and Arsenal, it’s reported that Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brighton and West Ham are all keeping tabs on the 21-year-old Brazilian.
Could be a Leeds offer?
After Mateusz Klich’s departure, Leeds have been linked with moves for a central midfielder in the January transfer window.
They have been linked to Morocco’s World Cup star Azzedine Ounahi, but L’Équipe reported recently that he’s not too keen on moving to Elland Road.
Another midfielder on the rise is Danilo and it wouldn’t be surprising if the Whites actually go on to make an offer to secure his services.
It’s understood that £17.6million will be enough to lure him away from the Brazilian club and that’s certainly a price that Leeds can afford.
It remains to be seen if Leeds are one of the clubs to have made an offer or if they will end up doing so in the next few days.
It looks like a striker is sealed along with a left-back so they can now move to a midfielder if that indeed is the plan for the January transfer window.
