Tony Cascarino urges Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa to join Manchester United

Tony Cascarino tips Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa to be a good fit at Manchester United.

The Argentine’s contract at Elland Road expires at the end of the season and he has been non-committal about his future thus far.

Rivals Man United are also eyeing a permanent manager and Cascarino believes that this is a match made in heaven.

“I personally love his brand of football,” Cascarino said on talkSPORT’s Weekend Sports Breakfast. “I think he’d be an incredible fit at Manchester United.

“The reason he doesn’t stay at football clubs or doesn’t commit to them is because he only sees his job year by year and no more.

“I think Bielsa gets a raw deal in many ways. Think of Leeds before Bielsa walked through the door and look where they are now.”

Bonkers

We don’t know what Cascarino has woken up to and which universe he’s living in.

There’s absolutely no chance that Bielsa even considers moving to Manchester United or vice versa.

The players at Man United are already complaining about life under Ralf Rangnick.

Bielsa’s methods are much more intensive than the German’s and he demands the utmost discipline from every player.

In the Argentine’s teams, no player is bigger than the club, and the same cannot be said about Manchester United.

Cascarino has possibly said this just to get reactions from both sets of fans as there’s no chance he would actually mean something so daft.
