Tim Sherwood stunned by what he saw in Leeds United v Norwich clash
Tim Sherwood was thrilled by Illan Meslier’s last gasp save that secured the three points for Leeds United against Norwich on Sunday.
After two stoppage time goals, the hosts were headed for a 2-1 win and could have been denied the three points had Meslier not pulled off a save from Teemu Pukki’s shot in the 97th minute.
However, the Frenchman was up to the task and calmly fisted the ball away to ensure his side ended up on the winning end.

Speaking on the Premier League Analysis Show, Sherwood said, “Crikey. What a save there at the end from Meslier.
“What this win does is that it gives them confidence and could even help them stay up.”
Staying up?
It may only be Norwich but those three points were a really big deal for Jesse Marsch and Leeds.
The American came in at Elland Road, taking over from the most popular manager in recent history.
It was obvious that the fans would get anxious after a few bad results and that’s precisely what happened.

Had Meslier not come with the save or Joe Gelhardt not found the back of the net, things could have been a lot different for the Whites.
This win gives them confidence and momentum and they know that two or three more victories could now be enough for them to retain their Premier League status for next season.
In other Leeds United news, Steve McManaman claims that a Whites man has already lost the trust of fans and some players after what happened last week.
