Tim Sherwood makes Leeds United relegation prediction along with Southampton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest

Tim Sherwood predicts Leeds United to avoid getting relegated from the Premier League this season as he sees Nottingham Forest going down.

After their defeat against Newcastle on 17 March, the former Spurs manager believes that it’s going to be the start of their freefall.

He also expects Southampton and Bournemouth to get relegated after looking at their recent performances in the English top flight.

He said on Premier League Productions at 11:26 pm on 17 March, “I believe he’s [Javi Gracia] capable of keeping them in the league. I think he will keep them up like he did with Watford. They don’t score enough. I’ve got faith in this guy. I love Leeds and want to see them here next season.

“I expect Bournemouth and Southampton going down along with the team that lost today, Nottingham Forest.”

Needs a run of results

Javi Gracia has proven it in the past at a club that appears to be worse run than Leeds so there’s no reason to think he can’t do it here.

The Spaniard has a tactical plan and the players look to be responding to it perfectly but the results are the be all and end all.

After the international break, the first three games for Leeds are against Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

While getting anything from the Gunners at the Emirates is going to be incredibly tough, Leeds can target four or even six points from the other two games.

They will be facing both sides at Elland Road and home advantage will certainly count as they’ve been way better in front of their fans.

Leeds must use the international break well and Gracia needs to work on certain things as he’s got to get this side out of the mess they find themselves in.

In other Leeds United news, the club may now face a losing battle to keep their star player at Elland Road beyond the summer transfer window.
