Tim Sherwood delivers bold verdict on Marcelo Bielsa Leeds United future

Tim Sherwood has delivered a bold verdict on Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United future amid their recent run of poor performances.

The former Premier League winner claims that the Argentine will not be at Elland Road after the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

In his view, Bielsa’s ideas have gone stale and that the dressing room no longer believes in his ideologies.

Speaking on Premier League’s Kelly & Wrighty show, the Sky Sports pundit said, “He’s overdemanding. I think they need a new voice. I think the players wish that he does walk away.

“I think he might have taken them as far as he could. I think his ideas have gone sour. I never see him smile. Leeds seem to have got found out.

“The players are tired and have switched off mentality. When you stop winning, you stop listening to the manager. A million in one shot that he stays next season. For the life of me, I can’t see him being there next year.”

Sherwood seemed to have gone on an endless tirade slamming Leeds and Bielsa, which is shocking, to say the least.

He does not factor in how unlucky the side have been with injuries and is using the classic “burn-out” criticism.

We’ve seen with a fully fit squad how they’ve taken the game to all the sides in the Premier League and will continue to do so this season.

Most if not all players in the dressing room may not have worked with a manager of Bielsa so far in their career, so it’s ridiculous to suggest that they would want him gone.

The Argentine is the sole reason why Leeds are continuing to punch above their weight.

If he’s not at the club next season, it will be his decision and not because the board decides to sack him.
