Sky Sports pundit waxes lyrical over Leeds United attacker Luis Sinisterra in Brentford Premier League clash
Tony Gale was impressed by Luis Sinisterra’s goal that brought Leeds United back into their clash against Brentford on Saturday.
With the Whites heading for the break facing a two-goal deficit, the Leeds summer signing netted a long-ranged effort to bring the gap down to just one goal.
In the end, it did not matter as Leeds suffered a 5-2 defeat and came back from London empty handed.
Speaking on the Premier League world feed, Gale, a Sky Sports pundit, said, “Wonderful finish. That’s the kind of quality Leeds invested in. Pace and precision.”
Sinisterra certainly looks the part at Leeds and we’ve got to applaud the recruitment department about this one.
The Colombian was a relative unknown to most people who watch the Premier League, but he’s someone the Whites have been keeping tabs on.
Once they found the opportunity to strike and that was coupled with Raphinha’s imminent exit, they had no chance but to go in for his services.
Since his arrival, he’s done everything one would want him to and has all but sealed a spot in the Leeds playing eleven.
With Dan James going out on loan, it’s hard to argue who’s best suited for the right-wing berth as Brenden Aaronson is fine tucking in to play as a number 10 as well.
Hopefully, Sinisterra can soon establish himself as a proven goal scorer and ensure that the Leeds attack does not miss a game changer of Raphinha’s calibre.
