Simon Jordan stunned by what he saw in Leeds clash v Manchester United

Simon Jordan was left stunned by what he saw during the 4-2 clash between Leeds and Manchester United.

The outspoken talkSPORT pundit couldn’t believe his eyes at the scenes on and off the pitch at Elland Road on Sunday.

There were crazy scenes during the derby, with some of the good stuff on show overshadowed by ugly incidents from the stands.

Speaking on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning (22 February, 10:52 am), the co-host was stunned.

“There’s a hell of a lot of passion in Premier League games,” he said.

“As we saw on and off the pitch in the Leeds United-Manchester United game, that was unbridled, unfettered, absolute passion exuding, sometimes misplaced passion exuding from both the fans and the players in that one.”

Despite Manchester United fans doing nothing to create any sort of atmosphere in the game, the home end was incredible.

Leeds continue to keep their place at the best fans in the country, and around the world with their displays each week.

The noise was so loud and the fans never sat down once throughout, not even when the game was gone towards the end.

Of course, there were unsavoury scenes with objects being thrown onto the pitch again, and there is going to be repercussions for that.

Hopefully, that can be stopped in the future and we can keep that hostile environment every single week at Elland Road.
