Sevilla forced to enter market for replacement as Leeds United target Bono set for transfer

Sevilla have reportedly been forced into entering the market for a replacement as Leeds United target Bono appears set to leave the club.

According to Fichajes.net [11 April], the Whites along with West Ham, AC Milan and Roma are keen on securing the 32-year-old’s services.

He has grown frustrated at the club and a summer exit is very much on the cards for him.

Tough one

There are clubs that can offer him European football so it might be difficult for Leeds to secure his services.

Right now, they don’t really need a new keeper as Illan Meslier is the undisputed number one and still remains very young.

He may not be having the best of seasons but the belief is that he’ll get better with time.

There are reports of other clubs being keen on signing the Frenchman and only if they pay big money will Leeds allow him to leave.

In that scenario, they’ll surely go for another keeper and that will make Bono a viable option for them.

However, as of now, the likelihood of this transfer happening is very less and it’s best if Leeds do not think about new signings and just focus on the league and avoiding relegation as they’re deadlocked in a battle.
