‘Sensational’ – Adrian Durham hails Bielsa for transformation of ‘unrecognisable’ Leeds ace
Adrian Durham has hailed Leeds United defender Stuart Dallas, who has become an “unrecognisable” player under Marcelo Bielsa.
The talkSPORT pundit revealed that he watched the Whites before Bielsa arrived, and the transformation of the club has been nothing short of “sensational.”
Ezgjan Alioski was also praised, after being described as a player that had previously looked way out of his depth in the Championship.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Durham hailed Bielsa for how he has transformed the majority of the players at Elland Road in the past two years.
“Dallas, who played last night, unrecognisable, Man of the Match last night, unrecognisable footballer,” he said.
“I think they’re brilliant, and it’s all down to coaching, it’s all down to man-management as well. I think Bielsa has shown up other managers, generally, his management of Leeds over the past two and a bit years has been sensational.”
Dallas has been incredible in the past three years, and even he has admitted that it is down to the effect Bielsa has had on his career.
It is hard to recall a player that runs as hard or covers as much ground as the Northern Ireland international, and he has really become Mr Reliable.
Against West Brom, Dallas delivered another assist and was once again everywhere, earning special praise from Bielsa for making no errors.
The 29-year-old completed 95.3% of his passes according to WhoScored, as well as two key passes and two vital clearances at the Hawthorns.
Dallas is performing out of his skin this season, and long may it continue.
