Ross McCormack speaks out on ‘bad feeling’ after what happened at Leeds United
Ross McCormack has expressed his concern about Leeds United with just six Championship games remaining.
The Whites are heading into the crunch point of the second-tier season and have frustratingly fallen to three draws on the bounce.
The most recent point came against Luton Town as Dan James scored a first half equaliser as the home side kept out Daniel Farke’s side until full time.
This has seen the Elland Road club drop to third in the table as ex-Leeds ace McCormack speaks out ahead of the end of the campaign.

McCormack uneasy about Leeds United
The Yorkshire club have had such an excellent season until this point that this drop in form has come as a surprise to many.
Now the Whites are sitting below Sheffield United and Burnley in the Championship table outside of the automatic promotion places.
This could result in a second consecutive year in the playoff places, and McCormack has put this down to a lack of squad depth in forward areas.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (8 April, 9:41am), the ex-Leeds man shared his “bad feeling” ahead of the second-tier run in.
He said: “I’ve got a really bad feeling about it. I look at Sheffield United, they’ve won four of their last six, and Burnley have won five, Leeds have won one.
“For me, it’s not just the starting 11. Sheffield United are bringing players like Kieffer Moore and Tom Cannon on in the striking areas, Leeds haven’t got anyone.
“They start with Piroe. If that’s not working, they’ve got Joseph, who’s unproven, and he’s not a natural goal scorer. After that, you’ve got Patrick Bamford, and he’s been injured for the best part of three seasons.”

Leeds United need more from Piroe and Joseph
There is no doubt that Piroe has been a positive force in LS11 this campaign but has gone quiet in recent weeks, which has been a blow.
Farke will be hoping that the Dutchman can find his feet once again and fire the Whites to the Premier League in the final six games.
Similar frustration can be levelled at Joseph, who has failed to live up to expectations this year despite coming into the season as the main striker at Elland Road.
Joel Piroe | Mateo Joseph | |
Appearances | 40 | 37 |
Goals | 15 | 3 |
Assists | 6 | 3 |
Total involvements | 21 | 6 |
There is every chance that this duo can prove to be important moving forward, especially with games against Middlesbrough and Preston coming up.
It will be interesting to see how Farke’s side can cope with the pressure and leapfrog Burnley and Sheffield United before the season ends.
