Rodrigo and Luis Sinisterra back in training – Confirmed Leeds United team news vs Brighton
Rodrigo Moreno and Luis Sinisterra are back in Leeds training ahead of their Premier League clash with Brighton, but Javi Gracia doesn’t know if they’ll play yet.
Rodrigo has been out since suffering an ankle injury against Accrington Stanley, while Sinisterra has struggled with injuries all season and hasn’t featured since the 2-2 draw with Manchester United last month.
But while both players are back in training, Gracia told his pre-match press conference that both players will be evaluated closer to the game before a decision is made on if they will feature in the game.
“They are doing something with the team,” he said, as quoted by Phil Hay (9 March).
“They are starting working with the squad. In the next training session we will evaluate the situation – whether they will help us in the next game or it’s better to wait.”
Must win
Obviously Brighton are a team in fantastic form right now, but Leeds are in a situation where they simply must win this game to get them out of danger.
The Elland Road crowd will be absolutely raucous, and Gracia has the opportunity to become the first Leeds boss to win his first two top flight home games since 1974.

Currently the team is only outside of the relegation zone on goal difference, and we saw last weekend that Brighton are capable of putting teams to the sword when they beat West Ham 4-0.
We must avoid the same fate happening to us, and with the quality of player we have available in defence and attack we have a chance of really making a statement and getting a big three points.
The squad is strong and has depth, so now the players must start to actually perform to their level to get us out of this mess that we find ourselves in.
