Leeds United have been linked with a January move for Swansea City forward Andre Ayew recently.
Ghana Soccernet claimed on their website that Marcelo Bielsa is keen on reuniting with the 30-year-old who he worked with at Marseille many years ago.
Ayew has been in great form after returning to the Swans from his loan spell from Fenerbahce last season. He has already scored seven goals as well as adding four assists to his tally.
The Sun journalist Alan Nixon recently delivered his verdict on a potential move for the Swansea forward, and it wasn’t a positive update.
Nixon claimed on his personal Twitter account that it doesn’t sound right that he has been linked with that switch in January after being asked by a fan.
Don’t think that’s right https://t.co/BIbuJBE67M

The reliable journalist is most likely right given Leeds’ restrictions with the financial fair play rules recently under Andrea Radrizzani.
It would cost a big amount of money to bring the African to Elland Road, and then there would be the problem of his big wages. Leeds will not want to spend massive amounts of cash on a 30-year-old towards the end of his career.
This isn’t us saying that it would be a bad decision to sign Ayew in the January window, but we have to remain realistic in what to expect in the market.
