With just over two weeks to go until the January transfer window, Leeds United have already started being linked with moves for numerous players.

Ghana Soccernet reported on Sunday that the Whites are lining up an audacious offer for Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew.

It has been suggested that Marcelo Bielsa is keen to reunite himself with the 30-year-old who he worked with during his stint at Marseille almost five years ago.

Ayew opened up on the speculation linking him with the Elland Road switch, claiming that he was not thinking about that at all before the January window.

"I'm not thinking at all about that," he told Wales Online.

"I'm here, I'm 100% here just thinking about the next game, that's Luton. That's speculation, that's what people are going to say.

"I'm happy here. If I'm here it's because I decided to be here. It was my decision."

Ayew stayed at Swansea in the summer, despite being on loan at Fenerbahce last season - scoring seven goals and adding four assists in his 20 appearances in the Championship.

It would make sense on one level for Leeds to make an offer for the Ghanaian should they lose Eddie Nketiah in the winter. But he would cost a lot of money in wages and fee, and he's 30-years-old.

The Daily Mail has reported that Arsenal are angry with the Whites over his game time at Elland Road, and are set to pull the plug on his loan deal.

Should Nketiah stay in West Yorkshire, a move for Ayew would simply be unnecessary as it would leave Bielsa with one too many options in the final third.
