It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance is scheduled to have his medical in Leeds on Wednesday ahead of a permanent move.

That news was reported by Telefoot journalist Julien Maynard on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday night.

He added that Marcelo Bielsa had convinced the player to join with his vision of the project at Leeds and the part Cuisance could play.

Fantastic summer of business for Leeds

It looks like the deal for Cuisance could be announced as early as Wednesday if the medical goes without a hitch.

It's another well-executed transfer by Leeds in a summer when every fan will be very happy with the business they've done.

This will bring the spending up to near the £100m mark but it doesn't feel like Leeds are doing a Fulham and throwing money around willy-nilly.

The Leeds team will largely remain the same, with a portion of the money going on players like Helder Costa and Illan Meslier.

Leeds desperately needed to replace Ben White and have done that with an increasingly confident-looking Robin Koch.

The striker position is now well covered and Leeds will now have midfield cover for Mateusz Klich, Kalvin Phillips and Pablo Hernandez if Cuisance signs.

It seems greedy to want more but Leeds United could yet sign a winger before the close of play on Monday. But, even if they don't, this is a transfer window that will score largely 9/10s and 10/10s from delighted Leeds fans.
