Reliable journalist labels C'Ship the 'home of the good vibes' in regards to restarting

The Sun journalist Alan Nixon has labelled the Championship the home of the good vibes in regards to restarting this season, in a move which could be great news for Leeds United.

Nixon claimed that the restart is currently on their own terms, before admitting that the EFL could have issues in lower leagues.

Boris Johnson updated the nation on Sunday evening, and it was revealed on Monday that live sport could return as early as June 1st on the right terms.

That doesn’t mean that it is a definitive return date, but it is certainly a step in the right direction to finishing the remaining nine Championship fixtures.

Nixon shared the update on his personal Twitter account on Monday afternoon, although there have been some contrasting reports in the past week.

“Championship still seems to be the home of the good vibes about restarting,” he wrote.

“On their terms too. Good on them. EFL may have issues down below all the same.”

This is a positive, after last week the Times reported that a growing number of Championship clubs that would prefer the season to be finished early.

But, this definitely contradicts that with it now seeming like the majority of those clubs would want the season to resume and it can be resolved on the pitch rather than off it.

It won’t be an immediate restart, and it will not happen until they have been given the green light to do so from the government.
