Reliable journo: Bielsa wants to sign £18m-rated 23y/o CB, dubbed best in Eredivisie by DiMarzio
Marcelo Bielsa wants to bring Feyenoord centre-back Marcos Senesi to Leeds United, according to Radio Continental journalist Martin Flores.
Flores put out a tweet that translates as, “Leeds and Bielsa are after a former San Lorenzo centre-back and the target is Marcos Senesi.”
Flores confirmed that San Lorenzo would benefit from a sell-on clause if the 23-year-old made the move.

The news was relayed by Fox Sports in the Netherlands, who added more meat to the bones and claimed that Senesi follows Martin Flores on Instagram.
They claim that Feyenoord manager Dick Advocaat doesn’t want to lose the Argentina Under-23 international but asked “what happens when Leeds open their wallet?”
Fox Sports claim that Feyenoord would sell the centre-back for £18m.

The Argentina connection
Senesi is the latest in a long line of Argentinian players that Leeds are being linked with. The connection? Marcelo Bielsa.
Senesi also comes with the added attraction that he fits into two of the positions that Leeds need to strengthen this summer.
Centre-back is the main area of weakness, with Liam Cooper the only senior central defender on the books at Elland Road at the moment.
Leeds probably need to sign another two this summer.
But Senesi can also play on the left-side of defence, which Leeds are looking at, according to Phil Hay.
Covering those two positions could give Senesi an edge if he does want to make the move to Leeds this summer.
Senesi is under contract until 2023 and if Advocaat really doesn’t want to lose him, it could be a hard deal to push through.
Feyenoord have already rejected offers of £15m from Getafe and Sevilla, according to Gianluca DiMarzio, who called Senesi the “best central defender” in the Eredivisie.
